Been fighting this one for a few days now.Nice and naughty. The nice is a separate crank..

The downside is that the body needs to be cut in order to fit a mostly finished frame into it..

Today I got the frame finished after modifying the roll bar hoop in order to it to fit the rear body part...

The decals went on nicely enough.

Only to find that the green cabin cover doesn't fit with the hoop!
Starting to dislike this kit now...

Still it does come with a scale represention of the kit box..

Plus a dammed bumper sticker!

Nice work. That Gold color looks awesome on this build. I saw onje at a show that was Kandy Purple. This is much better.

Nigel re the crank not turning, check your rod caps, you most likely have one on backwards, ROFL.

LOL On the crank guys,it reminds me of when I had mini's and a mini based trike..

Yes,that was me in the pilots seat!

So I decided to build an engine for it as I had 9 of them in the sheds,I settled on an 1100cc as it was basically a stroked 998cc but with better torque.Well would that crank rotate once torqued down, would it bugger!!

In the end I settled for a 10-1 compression mated to a 12 G 295 Cooper head with a S.U.HIF 1 3/4'' carb  that resulted in a power to weight ratio of 180 bhp per ton.

Anyways back to the ranch!

This started out as a quickie but went south, the rear roll hoop fouled the body and once sorted the hoop fouled the canopy!!!!
Aghhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So it was marked for cutting...

It was cut down a bit at a time and then sanded & polished.

The shell was cleared and now sits in a box with some prozac to give it some happy hippie vibes..

The blower pulleys were fitted after drilling out and then the supplied rubber was fitted...Ohh no it wasn't..Dammed thing snapped on me so it was fitted with superglue..
(Ohh boy I love this kit!!!!)
