Big scale parts can be loaded with detail and the engine is a stunner.

AL that engine looks killer, I can't wait to see what you do with this build. I can imagine that with some blackwash and detail painting the engine could be displayed as an awesome model by itself.

Thanks guys for the kind words. I'm back to it now.

I've been doing some knitting, or at least it seems that way. LOL

I assembled the ignition box and and fuel distribution block, then wired and plumbed same.

Loosely laid in the valley:

I won't fix it in just yet, as there is more to do on the engine and I don't want all those loose ends floating around everywhere.

You're right there Chris. If I had a spare it would look good alongside the completed model.

Here's a size comparison shot with the standard measuring device.

Lots of work but it will make a huge difference, just don't get tangled up.

The BIG Tamiyas are always remarkable in detail and general quality.  I died when I couldn't afford the turboed Ranault F-1.  Good luck and keep us informed.

You are in the wrong thread Ash. Check the post above. It's also finished and in Members Group Builds Finished Models forum.
