Challenger is beautiful with the blue and decals done! For many of us work comes first anyway and computer repair/help is more than a noble job...it's essential!
The Max-Rotax looks really sweet, ready to make a run! Very creative and unique! Maybe someday you can do another great Bonneville build! This community build really brought out the best in all the modelers, thanx!

Detailing looks great, Buck.
Those Challenger wheels look seriously nice.

That Rotax body is soooo cool, you could sell the bodies as kits! It's so different and the paint sets it off beautifully, thanx!

I know this CB is over but did want to update you before I make the New Model Announcement. It's Summer time here and this close to the coast you have to do the outside stuff when you can.

Clay has often talked about generators hanging in mid air with no support bracket (rightly so). Any way I took some picture of a Model A engine bay this year so I went to look where the bracket went and guess what. There ain't one.

So I guess it will dangle

I had some silvering on the decals and didn't like it. I talked with Butcher Bob, told him I didn't clear under the decals first. He told me to use Future Floor Finish and apply it with a Q-Tip on the decal. Keep putting it on until the silvering goes away (it's all shiny) then let it dry and Dull coat it. So I did and it went away. Much happier now and I learned a new trick.

Before:

After:

It took three coats of Future to get it done. I let it dry about an hour between coats.

Got the front end put on it. Radiator and headlights. Not sure what the Headlights are off of they came from the scrap yard. Lines for Brakes and Clutch are hooked up. All that's left now is Carbs, hook up those two fuel lines, windshield and license plates. I hope tomorrow to have the finished model posted.

Thanks for following along and once again I am sorry I didn't finish on time. Next time I will.

Great to see this any time! I thought I wouldn't like to see a "tub" but your skill and patience makes it really interesting. My fave decal is the tiny S.C.T.A. on the windshield. Little things can mean a lot!

It's looking terrific Buck, it really does have that amatuer status look to it.

I'm was having difficulty with the real deal not having a support bracket (It couldn't function without some support) so went searching and came up with this. As you can see it has two brackets on the dynamo that attach to the block/timing case cover with a single nut and bolt.

I mention this not for you to set about channging it but merely for future ref.

True enuf. Unless there's witchcraft or some strong electro-magnetic force, it has to be anchored somehow. I sorta like the Bewitched idea though.
