PostSubject: Beater chopped A sedan   Fri 26 Apr 2013, 4:32 pm

Got my bike back on the road yesterday, and fortunately, the sun is out again this morning, so I carried the garage out and shot the sedan !

Early morning sun giving me some wierd colors ! This shot was within seconds of the previous.

Man, this engine came out exactly as I had hoped, an avarage looking 409 with some exrta carburation. :D

:drunken:

That's one fine 409! This "Beater" has turned out great! Excellent work on the weathering and welds. Not much of a Rat Rod fan but I can admire excellent craftsmanship and photography! That first pic is wild with the colorations! 8)

What a wonderful rat rod. Didn't Chevy make a Tri-power 409? I know they made a Tr-power 348 which was also a "W" series engine.
