| That is just the way we built them. If the tire is to big to go under the car, put air shocks on it and lift it up. Longer Spring hangers helped a ton and a half also. Nice work Sam. |

| This looks very nice.
You are right Buck, this is the way we used to build them. With the raised rear ends and the shackles, I saw one guy drop the clutch, and the rear axle just went all different directions as the tires were biting for traction, and not at the same time. The shackles just let it move all over :shock: . |

| Yes Al, that was the "thing" in the early-mid '70's . My sister is 10 years older than me and my brother was 13 years. I remember as a 5-7 year old seeing their high school friends cars like this one and even higher. |

| Its either Tamiya TS 12, or 31, and its over gray primer. i was trying to duplicate the factories Vitamin C orange. |
