PostSubject: My hobby room   Tue 12 Mar 2013, 2:58 am

I guess I might as well join in. My wife and I down sized to a condo in an adult community last summer. One of the advantages for me is that I had a clean canvas to create the hobby room I wanted.

Since the room in the basement was unfinished I was able to do such things as putting in a ceiling mounted exhaust fan that moves nearly 300 cfm. I was able to vent the spray booth through the wall instead of having to route it through a window. The topper though was the chance to have a sink and counter in the hobby room and not have to use the bathroom sink.

The counter is from Ikea. It is modular and allows for future change if I decide to. Part of the stash is shown stacked below the counter.

As you can see here, it doesn't take long for me to clutter things up.

The room is still a work in progress and there will be changes.

Nice room John, and unlike Al's, you use yours.

That's cool! Plenty of space to work in and a sink to boot. Couldn't ask for more. :)

A sink is always good, John, so is clutter.
