I started this one quite a while back and gave up on it due to a badly warped body shell.  Since it was started and in the WIP box, it was time to give it a second chance.  I heated some water in a pot and with rubber gloves, carefully bent the body, afterwards dipping it into cold water.  After 3 or 4 attempts and checks on straightness, it was good enough to build.  Basically OOB except for the tire decals. Sorry there's no WIP.

You can see the twisted body shell here.

Body looks somewhat straight here.  But roof panels don't lay flush.

But here, it still looks bad. Hood not flush either.

At least it's out of the WIP box.

The paint and decals really bring it together, nice recovery on what sounded like a real pain.

WOW Mike..!   Very very nice stunning build....every time I see one of these body styles the Camaro or Firebird it makes me smile...then my heart sinks a bit missing my old 75 TA I once had.   I love the color choice on it..fits it to a tee.

Nice save, Mike. The 2nd generation F bodies aged pretty well.
