| Mike: Those B&W photos look good. I would really like to see more when you finish her up. I've got the white base coat down. Now for the red & blue accent colors. The chassis was replete with flash, pin marks, and seams. Lucky for me, cleanup was much easier than anticipated. |

| Clean looking build Mike, I agree with Cole, more BW pics.
Great start Cole, those chassis always have flash. At least when the repop of this kit was done technology has allow it to be moulded as one piece. This original kits the chassi is two pieces. _________________ My friends call me Curt.

Thanks. Considering they're decals they do look pretty good. Mike, the Tyrrell is looking great despite the problems you're having with it. A bit more progress on the Willys. I finished painting the suspension parts and they've been fitted to the chassis. DSCF9285 by timothy jones, on Flickr |

| Curt: A great save on the windshield. The weathering looks very convincing as well. I have finished painting the body. Now for some polishing to try and smooth things out. Then a final clear coat and decals. |

| Stunning work by all ... very motivational! The Camaro's frame is completed. I added minimal detailing to the engine with some plug wires (Radio shack) but overall am pleased with the look. The entire front end, suspension, and engine (other then the headers) are scrounged from the parts box. The build-up I started with was missing the hood scoop so I fashioned one out of a piece off of AMT's 69 Torino. The Ford item had to be widened and lengthened to fill the void. A shot of the body mocked up on the completed frame. I found a Camaro spoiler in the parts box; it had to be narrowed a bit and I added some green stuff to fill the gaps. The kit had no rear valance so a parts box item was narrowed to fit and molded in. |

| cant believe how slow this is progressing.....not having much time at the bench at the moment so it literally is 10 minutes here, 10 minutes there, but at least its on wheels now and i can think about those spindly looking mudguards _________________ ''Broadsword calling Danny Boy.....................Broadsword calling Danny Boy''

| Great looking paintwork, Cole.
Nice chassis, Chris. Interesting header routing.
Nice to see you're sticking with it, Paul. Yes, those fenders can be little pains. |

| Chris: The Camaro is looking real good. Paul: The 8 on the radiator is a beauty. The decals and engine are nearing completion. Now I have to find some photos as I want to plumb & wire The Mongoose. |

| The engine is ready to drop in the chassis. I didn't notice it until now, but the rear axle was not included with the kit. This is the second American kit where parts were missing. I have secured the spark leads to the cylinder heads and distributor. After the engine is secure in the frame, I will attach the spark wires. I may have to visit my LHS to acquire some fuel and oil lines. |
