PostSubject: Metric to decimal conversion   Wed 09 Aug 2017, 7:04 pm

I have been and will continue looking on my own, but maybe I can get some help with those more familiar with the metric system. A google search for a conversion table for metric to decimal dimensions bring me nothing but links that want me to join or subscribe to something.
I tried the local Office Max and got zilch. don't really know where to look. I will try to see if there is a draftsman supply place close, next.
But there always seems to be a solution to any problem here on kids.
So, I wondering just about what would  .05mm or .08mm be in decimal measurement? Anyway near ,020 ?

Thanks Gary. that's the kind of chart I was looking for and I was able to print it out ! Everything I came up with on a google search was telling me how to move decimal points on a metric number to get a number in a different metric unit. Even if I hadn't of been expelled in high school, i still probably wouldn't get this ! 40 years as a quality control inspector comparing parts to decimal dimensions on a blueprint made me totally unable to understand metrics !
Thanks again.
Clay

My pleasure entirely Clay. You can also enter figures into the boxes and it will convert any for you.
