Revell's Impala SS racecar. It's aimed at the youngsters, with peel and stick 'decals' and snap/screw together construction.
That said, you can add some detail to it. It's never going to be a MOM winner, but it offers easy improvements over the stock build.

Some wire wrapped around a 1/4 bolt gives us rear springs. Masking tape, the belt on the diff cooler pump.

The harness is painted masking tape, chrome pens providing the buckles. Decals from the parts bin.

The window net is masking tape, and I've hollowed out the ends of the dump pipes. The tyres should be Goodyear. Not a Goodyear transfer to be had, so Michelin it is!

Some very nice detailing ideas Chris. The window net made from masking tape is brilliant!!

Snap kits can be fun and fast builds Chris. Good start.

No reason the "snap together" and similar kits can't be improved to a point of pride. Thanx for the tips!
