That's going to be some paint job, I'd be afraid to wet sand it to be honest.

I'm not going go mad on the wet sanding Shay, I'll knock the dust nibs out with some 6000 grit paper, and go from there, there's enough clearcoat on the body, so I'm not worried about going through it.

Whats the worst that could happen ? if you burn through the clearcoat, you just have to give it a few more coats and start again.

But it is worth it, the dust nibs were only small and some 6000 grit paper soon had them gone, then polished, so far I've wet sanded the parts that needed it and polished out the roof panel

Once all the bmf has been done, it will get a coat of wax

Finally got the rest of the body wet sanded and polished, also got the headlamp buckets, which are supplied in chrome, masked up so the body colour inserts could be airbrushed

It actually takes longer to mask up than to apply the bmf, but doing it this way, you have two edges to trim up to with the scalpel blade, it also reduces the risk of the blade slipping and damaging the paintwork, using the tools shown, and a little time and patience, I have no trouble to doing the bmf at all

^ ditto.
I was very surprised to hear you found the fit to be so good. I recall the tail lights and interoir being terrible.

The interior went together like a jigsaw puzzle, just went together absolutely fine, I've dry fitted the rear lamps, again, no problems there either

I'm still waiting delivery from China, my photo etch scissors, so the only thing I can do now is install the glass, but even though they have been sealed in their little plastic bag, they did have a few very small, but noticeable scuff marks on them, so they were polished, using Holts motorcycle polish, I find the Novus plastic polish a little too coarse for clear parts, and this is the best I've found to polish them,

Right one still needs to be polished
