I'm waiting delivery of some new more suitable figures for the Quad Tractor and Universal Carrier dio which is going to take about five days.

So to keep the fingers and brain cell occupied, I'm starting in on this one:

I'll be aiming to finish it similar to this:

From what I have read, the kit is a bit tricky in places.

The kit supplies a full engine but I won't use it...... that will again go into Mile End Garage.

Sprue shots:

One thing about military armoured vehicles, they weren't designed with beauty in mind! Kit has fantastic molded-in detail and should, in your hands, become another fine model! Best to you!

I look forward to watching this build take shape. You've inspired me to start 'clarting' up my builds a bit. I've done some work on the underside of the charger I'm working on.

Thanks guys.... and Paul... it does look interesting doesn't it!!

D.    you should give 'clarting up' a try...... it adds a whole new dimension to modelling. If you need any help with it, I'd be only too glad to help. You could even come to me so you see how I do things.

Got the basic chassis assembled. No rear suspension yet as there are a further 58 parts to clean up and assemble before it can be installed!!!!

Al: Where did you come up with that kit? I got to have one for later in the year.

I'll try to get the photo we talked about posted today --- Christmas interference. Skype at the regular time.

Thanks all.

There are some very delicate parts and the sprue attachments to them are way to thick IMO..... resulting in three broken 'control arms'.

Look forward to Skyping tonight John.

One of the unfortunate consequences of detailed kits is very fragile parts attached to very heavy sprues, been there done that and burned the t-shirt, lol. Hope it's not a major set back and I look forward to seeing your vision for this one
