I got a nice little surprise this morning. My mom gave me a par of gloves for Christmas last year but I had never wore them.
I decided that today I'd finally put them on. When I put the right glove on there was what I thought was a piece of cardboard stuck in the thump. When I pulled it out, it was a folded up $20 bill

She knows you never wore them Dan, you'd have thanked her.

What's your next move? lol

I sent her a text letting her know I found a surprise this morning.

I'm not sure. I've got more kits than I will ever need and there is currently not a kit I just have to have.

I was hoping to find the Revell Ford '30 Model a coupe, but someone had posted in a Facebook group that either the Chinese government or the place that owned the molds came in & destroyed them.

I'm hoping this is just a rumor. The last I had, seen the mold was damaged, but was being repaired.

Nice find Dan.

There is a big thread over on MCM about the damaged tooling and what may have happened. At one point the kit was listed as discontinued on the Revell site, it is now listed as available again. The tooling was repaired and production is ramping up again.
