Revell-o-grams ancient kit. I built this kit back in the early 1980s, and promptly converted it to a scale version of my FC Holden speedway car.
Not much has changed with this kit, the wheels are now a push on, rather than the separate retainers of the earlier versions. Still got the same radial tyres that are too wide, ditto the crude chassis.

The interior should be two tone, but it was too hard to get a decent result on the one piece tub. I've contented myself with adding window winders, armrests and door handles. The chrome is chrome wrap from the printers near work. Its thick enough so you can cut strips 1 mm wide and it remains strong enough to use.

The engine got the usual Webster treatment of fuel lines and plug leads. I started this build in 2008! Before I descended into the den of vice and sin that is skidsplace! At least the white on the roof and sides has well and truely gassed out.

The headlining is next, and I hope to have the body on tonight. We'll see.

Show room clean and very realistic. Two-tones were the hot ticket back then, nice going!

This is really looking great, very nice work all round, especially on the engine detail.
