Trumpeter kit. Well moulded, no flash and good fit. There some oddities though. The entire exhaust is chrome, yet the wipers and external mirrors aren't. Interior door handles are separate parts, but not chrome, yet the window winders are moulded into the door panels. Exterior handles aren't chrome either.

No gear lever either, due to them making the steering workable. I've deleted that and will fit a lever.
They have an odd way with engines too.  Paint is Tamiya Titanium silver, and all the body chrome is separate parts, meaning very little BMF is needed, especially for the era.

Love the colour of the shell. Not so stuck on the interior just yet. Some more great work Web.

Now that the misplaced diff and engine block have surfaced, work goes on.
Here's the latest update.

I took my drivers test in a '60 Bonneville Sport Coupe. Had to parallel park it too. Many Bonne's  had three color interiors. Our white Sport Coupe had the Coronado red interior.

That's a great interior, from the days when you could pick from several colours. I considered the
tri toned look, but the Trumpeter kit seats and door panels have no resemblence to the seams/pleats of the 1:1 you've posted.
Thanks for the pic.

It's looking great Chris. I like the colour a lot.

That's odd, as I just checked my and the seats and door cards do have pleats, albeit in a different configuration.

Ah! those were the days, now we have to take what we are given............... mostly boring old charcoal grey!
