During my week off I played hometown tourist with milady and came across this odd bit of inner city art.


Here's a perspective shot as well.


We were strolling along the Seawall and wound up near Science World when I saw this.  I'm sure it has a name and history but I'm content to just appreciate it in situ.

Direct borrowing from the now gone "spindle" of Berwyn, Il Cermak Plaza shopping center. Here's a link to the wiki https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spindle_(sculpture). Equally interesting was a full size pinto body torched into flatness. It looked like a foldable cardboard model. Car art!
