 Paris - Dakar support truck.

PostSubject: Paris - Dakar support truck.   Sat 09 Jul 2016, 4:48 pm

It started off as a 4x4 fire truck with wheels and tyres plus cargo body from a Unimog,and a HI-AB from an Italeri truck spares kit.

Wow what a recovery work horse support vehicle, nice collection of kits to make this monster.

You have crafted a handsome ... nay, make that a 'beautiful' desert monster! The 'juvenile humour' aspect comes in wondering if it would look 'better' with a full load of beer kegs, lol.

Cool link, of course it did help that the track was wet. I wouldn't want to be a spectator if that thing took and off track rout, those barriers were not engineered to retain the weight of that thing.
