Nice start and a beautiful old Nomad. Can't wait to see where you go with this.

Those front wheels are what I'm using all around for my 64 Fairlane.

MPC flip front Corvette issue, can't find anything more skinney in the parts box Dan.

How do the plug leads go into those heads? looks like and old Hemi, can i just drill out 4 holes per side.

This thing won't be much more than an Irish curbside anyway, ie no chassis detail that you'll see

The long rectangular part on top is a cover that went over the plug wires. Just drill a hole on the of the rear and stick the wires in.

Go Shay! I am digging this. Could be any number of displacements.

Rust looks good Shay but don't make it too even all over. Even 'baked in the desert sun' cars have variation.
Be very careful with the hole size. Four ht leads are going to a very tight fit in there.

Here is where they go shay:

Thanks guys, and thanks for the engine pic Al.

The rear arches are opened up now and the huge slicks will fit, they might be too big but it's only a bit of fun anyway.
I found some skinnier front wheels and tyres too.

Just a squirt of primer wiped down when it was almost dry, accidental really, anything goes with paint on this thing Curt.

It sure makes a change not having to worry about a shiney finish for a change.

Got the front end taped up for a quick look, gives the front wheels at this height, so it looks good to go.

I just might tape up models from now on, save a fortune in different glues!

Engine almost done, just enough for a mock up to see how to fit it.
