That's the plan. I'm actually enjoying building again. When I have a problem I tell myself I'm building for me, not someone or a contest.

I just hope I tell myself the same thing when it comes to foiling it

I've only done interior pieces, never done window trim or body trim.

The window trim does have nice deep molding so the blade will have something to follow.

Here are a couple of pics of the chassis. This was from a couple of months ago. I'm just now getting the pics posted.

Now that cold weather is finally here, I'll be getting back to work on

this kit.

I started working on this again tonight. I'm on vacation for the next week & a half.

I'll get some pics of the wheel mock up tomorrow.

One thing that did happen (no one to blame but myself) since I didn't strip the paint after my orange peel escapade, and just applied a new color over the first color, it was pretty thick. So thick the paint cracked in a couple of three places when I flexed the body to put the chassis in to mock up the wheel fitment.

I've seen paint cracked on 1:1 cars so it just adds to the character of my build.

Chrome should add pizazz to the darkish color. I was surprised at the stance. I guess it's the large rear tires and low "stock"wheel cut-out that makes it look lower. the car's sides don't seem either high or low, it's just an illusion. Best to you on the windup!

This kit is a modified reissue of the original Thunderbolt kit. The chassis is the Thunderbolt chassis. The only thing Revell added was stock steel wheels, stock hood and a different air cleaner to fit under the stock hood.

It is foiled.

I spent the last three hours of 2016 doing the window foil.
