Some nice additions Sam. Wholly crap Sam, I just realized that is a 1/8 scale kit. The amount of detailng could get right out of hand.

I've been sitting on the fence for the past couple weeks about getting either the  Iwata HP-BH or HP-AH, basically the same  brush except the AH doesn't really have much of an external cup. Only .4ml capacity.  In the end it was price, I found an AH for $40 less then a BH. They both have the ultra small .2mm needle and fluid tip, and can pull very very thin line.
Can't wait for it to show up.
You can see the difference here in the pics.

They really are, and so easy to service and take apart, I have a few others from the HP/Hi-Line product line.

Was going to cut down inflating the stash this year, but it didn't last long.  Saw this at a good price with free shipping.

The Big Tub' looks nice Sam.

Mike: those Cruisers look interesting, same era as the UK Dreadnoughts I guess.

Curt: I'm also looking for an airbrush that can do very fine lines. Any chance of a report on that when you have tried it please?

Thanks guys, I now have a 1/8 t bucket, coupe, and touring.

I have never bought a ship model until yesterday.  It is a pretty basic kit, just a few parts are needed. Oh, did I mention it is 1/1 scale ?

PostSubject: Re: Styrene Addict. Show us your latest stuff here.   Wed 18 May 2016, 12:08 am

Had a good day yesterday.

A few days ago I asked Mr Hirakawa if he fancied trading for his Tamiya Zackspeed Wurth Capri............ well the answer was no but he would give me the kit. And blow me down he also threw in two bike kits too:

We live only about a mile and a half apart so I went to collect them and as a slight recompense I gave him a few cans of Promatic clear gloss.

We had a nice chat over coffee and I got to see some of his completed models and they are every bit as well done as in the photos you see on Skid's Place. Top notch work.

Then this a.m. these two arrived:

An inspection of the body in the Chevy kit, shows a body that IMO, surpasses Tamiya quality.

Finally, while on Skype with JohnJ last night, I noticed in the background, he had two of these in his stash:

They don't turn up on ebay UK all that often and I'd just been outbid on one yesterday morning!! So we did a trade.

This is what I'm going to do with it:

Happy chappie tonight!!

Can't help but chuckle at the "ship." Will you be Gilligan or the Skipper?
Luv the WWI ships. I know nothing about them.

I'm on a roll...... just scored this one off eBay:

I've already built this one but an eleventh hour decision saw it switched to being ratted:

This time it will be built as 'new' or 'restored'.

More great stuff Nigel.

Ash, nice kit.
I have a glue bomb of that kit from the 80's release. A friends dad was terminally ill a couple years ago and was bored out of his mind at home. I gave him a hand full of kits and set him up to build. One of them was this kit. Let's just say he liked using glue and a brush to paint.
I have the unfinished kit back in my hands.
