Got these recently.  Just keep adding and never finishing.  Fortunately I've pretty much run out of things I want to buy.

If I ever build this it will be the Altered Wheelbase version that Chrysler rolled out in 65, the original "funny car".

These are the two Galaxie Chevys I've been pining for for quite a while.

Excellent choices Dave, I have the Galaxy Aero and Delivery but not the coupe yet.

Is that Moebius Plymouth a new tool or the old Johan ?

New tooling Sam. It's a really nice kit as long as you want to make a stock Plymouth. Not a lick of extra pieces to allow any customizing, but the pieces in there are really nice.

Great kits, Dave. The Galaxie and Moebius models have fantastic detail to them.

There are some terrific models in the last few posts. My particular favorites are the Galaxy Chevrolets and the drill press.

I've gone all girlie!!!!

Been to the Metro Centre to-day (huge shopping mall to you Yankees) to buy a new digi camera (more on that later) and as I was leaving I passed a stall selling a HUGE range of nail polish, so I took a look. It also helped that there were two VERY pretty young girls serving.... LOL).

I spotted these and thought they were worth a try:

Won these on evil bay last night, snipped them both in the last 30sec from the same seller, should save on shipping a bit.
Even with shipping both of these are the cheapest Mazda 787b kits I have seen in years.

This one is partially assembled, but complete.

This one has all the bags sealed and only the shell has been cut from the sprus.

Thanks John.
Just got the invoice, $50.59 USD, for both kits delivered. One of my better evilbay deals.

I am pretty excited.

Just received this today:

It's a micro chisel, just 1mm wide, and should prove very useful for getting into tight spaces!!

Nice scores Ash. I like the MUTT a lot.

I seem to be an aircraft mode at the moment as this one just arrived this morning:

Where did you get the chisel Al? I've been looking for something similar, but have not seen one locally or on line.

Had to go to Orem City today.  While there I thought I'd stop at the LHS just to visit.  Yeah, right!  Walked out with this.

I'm a sick man.  I do not need another kit.  Oh, well; onward and upward.  I will be getting started on this one about the first of March.

Haven't been buying much for the stash recently - have too much already.  But I always wanted this old Mack Bulldog truck and the price was right.

Also, wondered why this brand of kits carried a steeper price than most.  When I saw one priced low I grabbed it.  Looks like another flying boat in my future, although smaller than the Felixstowe.  The resin work in this one is fabulous.

Here is my story and I'm sticking to it

I was looking on e-bay just to see what was their and NO plans to buy anything when these popped up, 3 1/16th scale dragsters built and in need of some TLC on a buy it now so I went out side to have a smoke and think about it, had a smoke then came in and got them

#1 Tony Nancy's loner FED

I have a fed parts kit so I'm OK

#2 Don Prudhomme rear eng.

This one is savable with some work and a little luck

#3 Don Garlits rear eng.

This one I'm not sure about rebuilding but will work for a parts car if nothing else.

That's what I got for $60.00 with free shipping so I'm good to go for awhile

John......... did you find out if the Elefant has the Zimmerit molded in yet?

Mike I am so jealous of that Bulldog. I'd love to get one of those. Any chance of sprue shots please?

I went to my local model shop to get some brushing paint today and spotted these two at good prices.

Three quid:

Six quid:

The Revell box was unsealed but the bag inside was unopened.

The Hasegawa kit box was sealed with a cellophane wrapper, so I opened it up to take a looksee:

Underneath the instructions:

Removed the kit to look for the decals and found this:

Another kit!!!!! By Airfix. Completly different moldings, complete and with decals and Airfix intructions!!!

What is going on here? Anyone got any ideas?

Happie chappie though, three kits for just nine quid!!!

Per your request, Al.  The Bulldog.  Finished model should be 10 inches long.

It's the F3 Paul.

I noticed yesterday that there is an Amerang (UK model wholesaler) sticker on the side of the box which was inside the cellpohane. So I'm guessing they must have stuck the extra kit in there for some reason.

Whatever, I got two for the price of one so I'm happy.
