Is that gold or light wood grain in the flash Clay? Either way it looks good.

Gold side trim was "emblematic" of the throw-more-chrome on cars. Gold was an attempt to one up chrome. My Dad had, for a while, a late 50s Plymouth with a bent or out of line driveshaft with an ominous vibration, bur at certain rpms it quieted. Scary. Your Plymouth would be much scarier!

I do have this done, now.
Final assembly didn't want to go so well. I had to handle it way more than I wanted. I'll be getting some pictures soon !
