Well. I have the front end figured out. Spindles reversed and raised to the higher point and the tie rod brackets relocated.
Rear leaf spring perches have been moved to inside the rails.

Now, Mr. ' I ain't satisfied just assembling a kit' is finding out just how unsuited that engine is in a street machine. So, a whole lot of 'imagineering' is going to take this where I hadn't planned on going !!

Plan "B". Sliding the engine back. This is how far it will it will be protruding to under the dash.

Blocking in the console.

Mock up of today's progress. Mostly interior/dash stuff. Housing on top of dash was  T turtle deck. Needs to be trimmed and then the windshield fitted over it. It's coming along!

Cobbling together a roll cage of sorts. While all that was curing, I took the upholstery off of one of the side panels.
Getting anxious to get back on the engine !

The interior dash and floor stuff is ready for the body to be dropped over. I got the dual electronics wired to the plug holes. Not too anxious to do that again !
Then on to the fun part, getting the  blower things detailed.

Today, I finally painted the body color. Mixed some One Shot and will have to let it gas out pretty good before continuing. Still will have to handle it more than I like.
