| For a bit of fun, just under 6 hours modeling time including drying etc, bit of a speed build..... hope you like it!! Started out with this, once again thanks to my good old friend Andy for sending it on to me. Scale image Raised the suspension (no detail ... just lifted up), reshaped arches, added 1/24 MG wheels and tyres, 1/24 wing mirrors, scratched front and rear bullbars, front carrier and bedrolls, rear roll cage, surfboards and wetsuit. Forgot to tie the boards down till doing the photos so some images have and some haven't got them roped up. ... doh!!! |

| Very nice Colin.
They're Tamiya MX5 tyres and rims though, they only have 7 spokes. I'm not an anorak really, I have an old NA the garage. LOL |

| Here in U.S. it evolved into the VW THING. Good work, wheels a bit large, but it fits with the "fun" image. Extras make it even better! |

| You've turned it into a beach buggy? I would never have thought to do that. I like it. A lot. |

| Looks good Colin. I would never have thought it was a six hour build. _________________ John Johnson

| Really cool build, Colin. Nice idea mixing the 1/24 wheels and tires with the 1/35 kit. Never thought of that one. |
