She'll be a one of a kind, when it's done.

Lots of sanding and priming. Not much to post.

I did start working on the frame and chassis. I filed some notches in the front springs and axle mounting points to get about an 1/8" drop in the front and then I added blocks to the rear to get the drop in the back.

I want it to look lowered but not ridiculous.

Hi SR,

I like that stance, I'm not a fan of the ground scrapers...

Andy...

Sorry MITCH!!!     I guess I could say that I was telling Andy that your build was getting better and better, but you probably wouldn't believe me!

Photobucket was down Friday so I am behind in posting.

I did a couple of mock ups

I got some color on most of the parts and some assembly done.

I am having fun with this one so I am on a tear.

I used the wheels and tires from the Galaxie brand 48 Chevy Sedan Delivery. They fit great and look perfect but they just fit on the tip of the axle stubs.

I used my Dremmel and cut out the brake drums from the wheel backs from the Revell 41 pickup kit. Then filed out the centers a little and turned them around.

Not only did the space the wheels correctly they look pretty convincingly like brake drums.

I glued them to the wheels so when the wheels turn the drums turn too.

I made some decals and got some color on most of the parts. Wired the engine and did a couple of test fits.
