Thanks Max it sure has been an adventure, and one of my more challenging builds.

I am happy to share both my success and failures with everyone, and agree we can all benefit from the experience we have from builds.

That being said I am off to the help forum to post up some help with my dust issue.

Final polish and some PE carb linkage with fasteners attached, the cable bracket and the hard line.

Some small progress, hoping to have this wrapped up for another site this week. I see the windshield needs to be trimmed a bit, never noticed the fitment issue until this pic. Turns out I didn't trim the sprue tags enough.

Laid down some panel line shadding as well, a quick polish with some compound will remove the slop.
Looks like I will have to redo the window trim, it hasn't turned out to my liking.

Hi Andy! Thanks bro.

Some more progress, baby steps now.

I have fashioned some detail bits for the brake system. The retaining clip will need to be straightened out, I think I installed it backwards.

While poking around on the web at custom cars in search of inspiration for my next paint scheme I noticed some of the frenched head lights have inner chrome rings. So I decided this needed to be attempted.

I had attempted to mask a trim line around the out side of the head lamp area at the beginning of this build and soon realized that the compound curve was next to impossible to mask. So that idea was shelved.

So when this idea came along I took another crack at it using .7mm masking, no go. It crinkled as well. My next attempted was to "cap" the headlamp opening with mask and paint from the inside, no go. The working area is too tight for the AB to get in close enough to paint the bottom.

I also tried using my cutting compass, it doesn't go small enough.

I don't give up so easy, I came up with what you see here.
I used .4mm mask, running it as close to the edge as I could leaving a bit of a lip. This leaves only a very very narrow adhesion surface of tape area. I then masked the rest with liquid mask and normal mask.

I figure any over spray will be able to be wet sanded off with 2000 grit.

Thanks for checking in guys.
