HA! The mysteries of painting!  Aerosols are definitely harder than an airbrush as the spray is huge and in a too large pattern.  When I built, aerosols were what 90% or more used and our skills were tested every time.  Air brushes, with myriad adjustments in pressure and spray, are less stressful.  Whichever you used, it looks good.
