| HI guys, Here's my next build, its going to be a long one because of the stuff I have for it. It will end up being the most detailed build I have tried as they are normally box stock whereas with this I have a couple of extra's which I have never tried before, so here goes with the box art Sprue shots Extra's, Carbon decal sheet, Tamiya fork set and the Hobby design chain set Now onto the build, so far I have filled the front fender and primed a few pieces and thats it for now. Thanks for looking |

| Amazing detail in that p/e set! I see the two part chain and the links and the sprockets, but whats in the little bag with 10 zillion little parts?
Do you need them to pin the chain together Ash? |

| Cheers guys, Shay the zillion little parts are 116 spacers which sit between the 2 sides of the chain, then the gold links sit on top of the chain sides (with the spacers passing through the side and then into those) then the sprockets in the centre.. Holy ....! That's gonna be a painful task putting those together.
There are also some resin nuts which sit within the large sprocket.
You need to cut the chain at some point so it will go through the swing arm, that will be the hard point because it will need bending and then re straightening.. GULP!

| Hi Ash,
This looks waaaaay fiddly, best of luck to you Sir, but I'm sure you will conquer it...
Question if I may, how do you stick PE together...

| Morning Andy Your not wrong mate, its a bloomin nightmare this tiny stuff and I keep dropping parts on the floor. My method has been superglue, place a blob on a plastic bag laid flat then dab a cocktail stick in it. place dot of glue on largest piece to be glued then carefully sit the adjoining piece to it and apply a little pressure. Its tedious and really slow going but at the end it looks ok though its a shame you need to paint the parts after as they look cool silver imo. There's another thread about glues and D mentioned tin foil and pringles lid as a palette to place the glue onto. Now that will be my new method as bags are now 5p and becoming rare in my household |

| I can only imagine the patience required to do this. I love it!!! Maybe another bike is in order for the future. |

| You have the patience D and I'm sure you have a kit in your stash which has a p/e set available for it.
Next for me is the zxrr ninja with the top studio detail set I have for it. That's all about connectors and p/e stuff. With resin parts but a wise owl once told me. 'Master one thing at a time and don't try to do everything all at once or you will fail'. He wasn't wrong this far!
Now off to build more chain.
Update later.

| So I built some more chain but i was disappointed at what happened so its left to one side till I can work out how to straighten it out.. No pics of that yet but I managed to spend a few hours on the bike today so here's it so far Wheels with tyres, chart called for black, not gloss or flat or metallic just black, well I dont have any just black so I used Hiroboy black gloss without the clear coat (which it says you should use) and im happy with it so that's how they are staying Front fender painted with a Tamiya spray and then 2k clear over the top. First time I have managed to mask and paint with no bleed through.. RESULT!! Engine painted with clutch added from Tamiya fork set Decals next I have tried the micro sol/set stuff before and not been very good, I think I am learning how to use it properly now, unfortunately I messed up the lower cowl before I managed to work it out. Lower cowl There's also a seem line down it but you wont see that once its on its wheels The rest so far The carbon fibre ones are from the studio 27 decal sheet, each piece is split up, the clutch cover had 3 parts to it and the inside of the front cowl is shown below. Thats it for now, where the decals split I will touch up before I clear over the top but that will be after christmas.

| Thats some fancy work you're doing there A5h. Nothing else to comment with really apart from outstanding work! As i've always thought and followed that code myself, it's the attention to the details which makes a great build and here we have one. Great stuff. |
