Hi Guys,

Here is the final thread introducing myself to you through my builds. This one is a top fuel dragster I built using aftermarket decals and super-detailing the engine.  These monsters really need their engines detailed!

Cheers,

Jim

Great workmanship. The engine really gets it done.

Thanks guys - threading the braided line through the a/n fittings was probably one of the trickiest things to do.

That's some real nice engine detailing Jim.

One suggestion for next time if I may:

Small bore braided line is difficult to work with and often 'collapses' when doing so. You might try inserting some fine bore solder or if that is too thick, some single core copper wire or Kynar wrapping wire.

Did the A/N fittings come with the kit? or are they after market? and if so, who's are they?

Super work, nose to tail.  Engine is insanely detailed.  That's a collection "keeper!"

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the comments!

Alan - I'll have to try your tip on the braided wire. The a/n fittings are from Detail Master and have been painted with Tamiya clear paint.

Cheers, Jim

Great looking digger. I sure agree with your comment about engine detail. On these race cars, it is all about the motor!
