This one spent a lot of time on and off the bench and recovered from a disasterous initial paint job so i'm pleased to see it finished well.

I was planning on using chromed Z/28 badges but they disintegrated whenever I tried to prepare them.

Thanks for looking.

That's a good looking Camaro Mr H. The colour scheme works well and the Toquie's suit it perfectly!!

Thank you for the comments though I must admit my ignorance as to what exactly a 'Toquie' is.

My usual aproach to exhausts is first base the whole lot with silver. Revells aqua silver in this case as I find it brushes on very smoothly, then I paint it all with Tamiya's titanium silver, next I drybrush all curves, bends and joints with titanium gold, when dry I wash into the joins and some of the curved areas with a watered down brown ink and when dry an unwatered brown ink into the deeper parts and joins, then I put a little rust brown ink (orange and brown) into selected areas. When dry I drybrush titanium silver to blend in any 'tide marks' that the inking left and then a top drybrush very lightly with silver. Sometimes I add a little heavily watered down blue ink in selected places. If ever I need to heavily stress bends I always use a combination of red, blue and purple inks.

Just stunning. Torquies are Torque Thrust brand mag wheels.

Awesome Z28. Super detail on the chassis and engine. I love the gold and black combination on the paint. Very striking!

Great workmanship. The color combo isn't for me, maybe if the sides were black á la Smokey Yunick.

That is a fine example of a Z-28. Super job.

WOW

DOUBLE WOW

That is the nicest Camaro model I've seen in a really long time...or ever. Very nice ! I especially like the incredible paint and staining detail on the exhaust as well as the use of wash to make everything look so realistic. This is just fantastic.

Fantastic job. Can't see it very well, but that's some great work on the houndstooth seat inserts.
