That's called a tunnel back insert Cole.

Nice work on the harness. I am going to try and find that brand and get one.

Looking good Cole.

The harness will look great made up.

I've used Scale Motorsports harness' in the past and the nice thing about them is........... all the pieces are individual...... no cutting of a sprue!! Makes life so much easier!!

Mitch; Thanks for the education. You can buy direct from Scale at their website http://www.scalemotorsport.com/
I am sure they are sold online by other distributors as well.

Al: I agree about the PE for the harness. It looks so clean after peeling it away from the rubber backing and it's very sturdy.

Thanks Ron.
The harness is finished, but not as well as I would have liked. My order of assembly was the culprit. The belt material worked quite well. It is backed with an adhesive, and set down easily on the PE and seat.

Pretty much done. I will post in the finished section when the diorama is complete. The diorama will show the car in the shop being modified, hence only part of the aero package has been added to the car.

Fantastic look in the paint/decal dept.!  Only weakness is the all-too-common one of the body sitting too high.  Why the model companies do it remains a mystery.  Until then all builders can do is live with it or do serious modifications.  Thanx for a very rare model done very well.

Looks great Cole. You did a good job with the harness too. I ordered two sets from Squadron.com.

Wow. I didn't notice the ride height till you mentioned it. You're absolutely right.

Thanks Mitch. My only advice for the harnesses would be to fold the shoulder harness buckle around the pin AFTER the belts have been looped through. I didn't, and it was a big mistake. Also, I am quite clumsy applying tiny amounts of CA. So I used clear glue for the spider. It worked well for me.

Love the paint and decals Cole. Very nice. And I agree that this is a unique subject, not seen very much. Great work, and it will be interesting to see how this fits into the diorama!

If its going to be in a diorama then show it on jacks. The suspension would be unloaded and so the wheel would be down in the arches. No harm no foul.

Besides the mechanics would need the wheels down or removed in order to put the fasteners on for the fender extensions.

That's a great suggestion Mitch. The diorama has a power lift as well as jacks. Depending on the space available, I have it will up on one or the other.

You did an awesome job on this, most notably on that large decal. Sweet little racer!
