I threw some brake cables on my rusty & crusty bike over the weekend. Had these left over, the ferules that go at the ends of the plastic outer
cable. They are about 3/16" diameter, so too large for a stock build, but would work on dump pipes & truck builds.

Cable brand was "Clarks". I had plenty of left overs, so a visit to your local bike shop might pay off.

That's a great tip Chris and free too, thanks for posting.

As an alternative you can by 'uninsulated bootlace ferrules' in a variety of sizes. Exhaust tips and injector stack sizes are about GBP3.00 for a hundred.

I always buy from these people. One of their Mini-starter kits is a life time supply and seem to be the right sizes. Exhaust tips, injector tubes, header collectors. tons of uses.

Yes, Al it is, but that link is for a US Company. That reduces shipping greatly for any one interested in buying some.

I bought uninsulated ferrules from a couple of Chinese companies off eBay and they provide free shipping. Two issues, the shipping takes a really long time and they don't offer too many sizes.
