Hi everyone :)

I figured out that for the better or worse, I must finish all of my standby projects, before I open another kit, especially these days as modelling and work don't stick together at all... anyway, I always loved the late 50's and thought it was a good restart for the hobby; as for the kit, no introductions needed, a well known AMT full of fitting issues and rather inaccurate instructions, annoying parts prep, but at the end it pays all the hours spent on it.
I painted it with Vallejo Copper, Tamiya Deep Metallic Blue and Tamiya Yellow. I could not be most disappointed with the interior trim, but now it's done... scripts are PE's from MCG and chrome trim is bmf.
Hope you like it and please feel very welcome to comment

Interesting 2-tone exterior.   I would do interior in matching dark color or lighter copper color but that's just my taste.  We see many '56 Fords, but few '57s.  Thanx!

Hey, good to have you back Nuno.

The 57 looks sharp.

Nice work. My father had one but it was a station wagon, two tone
blue and white, until my older brother added the gray splotches, he tried
fixing some rust and it ended up with "urban camouflage". Like the colors,
most unique!---John

Nuno:  Welcome back to SkidsPlace.  I really like your effort with the 57.  The body color is an excellent choice.  I'm not too wild about the yellow accent stripe, but if you are happy with it that is what matters.  Overall it's a nice job.

Beautiful build Nuno.

To all of you who are whining about the yellow, the car came with gold inside the chrome trim. Google 1957 Fairlane 500 and check the images and you'll see what I mean.

Hi,
Thank you for your kind words :)
In fact the interior trim was a poor choice of mine, but I wasn't in the mood to strip the paint on it... Had to finish it for the sake of my mood on the hobby... anyway this is now a complete project, a trio with the Chevy Belair and the Oldsmobile of the same period parked together in my garage :)
