Not a big fan of the rear fenders, but fantasy is fantasy, so go ahead and fly them. I think I would have shortened the rear axle and tucked them into the body, or used the shortened Ford 9 inch rear end from the same Willys kit. it already has a 4 link suspension.

Buck:  I like the idea of shortening the axle and getting the tires in under the body, but to do so would require a new frame.  Take a look at this photo and you will see what I mean.

I just don't have enough faith in my own abilities to take on building a frame right now. I do appreciate your input though, please keep it up. It's how I learn.

It's never too late John. If you think it's better, do it.

If not, at least trim off the underhang. It looks ugly to me.

Skid:  Maybe it's never too late, but sometimes it's too much work.

I did take your advice and cut the fenders.  Take a look at how they look and let me know what you think.

I kind of like the new appearance. Let me know what you guys think about the appearance of the fenders now. I want to know if I am a minority of one.

Here is a shot of the latest mock up showing what is the probable final appearance of the car.

The  interior is next and the final exterior details.  After that is done it will be time for the Whittier Blvd Sign.

Very imaginative.... If I saw that thing behind me with its lights flashing, I believe I would stop.

Thanks for the kind comments guys.  Also thanks for the criticism that was offered.  The fantasy car is finished.  Here are a few photos.

Coming up is the Whittier Blvd sign. Hopefully I will have something to show for that in the next few days.
