Well there has not been much progress of late, just reversals.

About 3 weeks ago I was doing the foiling on both bodies when the paint started coming of the 'vert, so it's toast. No such problems with the SD. Both had the same preperation, just can't get paint to stick to any revell body made in the last 15 years. This modern Revell plastic is crap.

Then last week I was taking the SD outside to get some sunlight pics of the metallic silver paint, when I went ass over head down the stairs, result was one of the repaired body cracks opened up and gave my back a hell of a tweak.

So I decided to start fresh with a new body that I got from Sam.

Possible jalopy? Might be something to do with the old body.

Still need to make new door hinges and a couple of tweaks before I start painting. Actually as Winter has well & truly set now, painting maybe on hold for some time.

Sorry to hear about your fall Steve, I hope you are OK.

You know, a Jalopy SD would look good!!

Thanks guys, luckily I had my back brace on and it took most of the impact.

Finally got around to making the new door hinges.

Ah so, I see what you mean about hinges.  I was wondering.  Take care of your health. In addition to yourself, we want progress on models, stay well!!!

Like Steve, I am still plodding away with this one now that I have a place to work. A LOT rusty at the bmf. lol, but the fender assemble is finished and the body is close. Here is a mock up.

Thanks guys.

I was able to spend quite a bit of time at the bench this past weekend. The chassis is finished in basic blacks with exhaust and fuel tank highlighted. Engine has distributor wiring, but is wired to the correct firing order, which is a first for me. Also a first is fuel lines.
