Warm up for the January community build. I'm gonna try to salvage this cool little model. It's in pretty good shape. Not a glue bomb, just kinda of a basket case. The small instruction sheet is pretty yellowed, so I'm guessing this isn't a very new model.

Looking forward to this Clay.

I've built a couple of these AMT modifieds. That Tobias chassis is a little tricky to assembe IIRC.

That looks like an original issue. I luvved when they came out and AMT and MPC (?) both had several different bodies on the short track modified frames with big Chevy V-8s. Good choice.

Freshening up the engine, and have 1 rear tire fixed.
You'd think having designed and produced such neat framework, the die makers could have gotten the circumference of two piece rear tires within 1/64 inch of each other !!

Clay.... those are 'staggered' tyres, specificaly for left turner dirt cars don't ya know!!!

Chassis up on wheels. Just have the body left to paint .

OOps, Have to get the front of the left header in place.

Kind of a neat lil frame. It was fun.
