This is an old (1966) Pyro ship model I got from ebay.  There is no WIP for it, since I'd work on it in spare time between regular projects.  In that time, because the sails made it rather top heavy, it toppled over twice knocking pieces off.  Luckily, none were lost.  Instructions said to paint the sails three different shades of gray with different colored patches.  The actual one probably dates back to the 1920's, when Chiang Kai-Shek sent expeditions into the Chinese interior to battle warlord armies and unify China.

Large pieces were airbrushed, but there was a lot of hand painting done.

Thanks for looking,
Mike

Well, I could say it was a load of old Junk and it would be true!!! LOL

Instead, I'll say that it is another fine ship from you Mike. Lot's to see.

Got a shot with some sense of scale please?

Really first rate! I luv the weathering, especially the deck close up. Let's all send him models to weather for us! Thanks for a lovely piece of history.

A very very nice job Mike. Judging by the Tamiya jar it must be close to 1/72 scale. A very interesting subject from China's past. Thanks for showing.

Sorry I missed the post when it was published.
I really like this !!!
I'd love to get a larger scale model of one! If it was more convenient, I'd even like to try scratching one !

That looks really amazing, especially since its not really a premium kit. You did great paint work on it.
