Somehow I missed the jump from Discussion to WIP. Here is the box for at least  one of the bigger little ones that I will be doing.


It is an impressive box for 4 little kits.

Wild variety here! I'm a bit surprised despite the scale, companies sometimes don't try to make them better. The skill is more in the talent and patience of individual builders. You are the builders, thanx!

Tiny and delicate parts there! Better be careful they don't vanish on you. The DC6 was state of the art back then, as were the others.

I'm joining the party and this is my entry, a Cold War warrior, the Mig 21.  I was watching one of my favourite movies on TV the other day - Ice Station Zebra. A flight of Mig 21s made an appearance at the end of the movie, they looked like a bunch of models stuck to the end of a stick. Anyway, there's nothing grand about this kit should have it finished soon.

one of my fave movies too

im going to have to retire from this for a week or three...........ive botched up the paint job......as i have no ab at the mo i tried brush painting and it all went a bit Pete Tong, so its into the brake fluid to strip, and when i get a new ab i shall have another crack at it properly

Tried using White Out for seam filler for the first time last night thanks to this thread. It looks promising.
