Well, let's try again. Talk about chalk an cheese. This is a super little kit in 1:72 scale.

Very little flash and light mold lines easily cleaned up. There are, annoyingly, two injection pin marks on the upper surface of the lower wing, and since the wings have fabric texture, I chose to just 'smooth them out' a little.

Only the fuselage is glued together as yet.

Man this little thing went together like a dream. Prop, wheels and .303 Vickers gun in place for mock up only.

Maybe not before I go to Bonneville John, but afterwards, if I find something rigid and thin enough, I might just do that.

This morning I got the upper and underside paint airbrushed on.... remarkably, I was able to do it without the need for masking!!

The colours may not be prototypically correct but they are what I had to hand and near enough for me.

Next will be a light coat of clear, followed by detail painting and decals.

Good molding of the body helps a lot with small scale. Good luck on the wrap up! Bonneville...some folks are crazy.
