It is May 1945 and the war is over, celebrations begin. Refreshments are found, music is being played and Katya dances.


The figures were base coated in acrylics and finished in oils. I added an apron to the dancer using lead foil and hand painted the roses. The accordion had its bellows painted to look my daughters' CAMILLO. I wanted to get as many figures on this base as possible.






The little boy holds a soldiers back pack and has a Soviet soldier hat on.
