Agreed, any issues with it? Chris

Other than the self-inflicted gap on the trailer....none so far......but....

I got the cab assembled, but it wasn't fun.  The instructions say to assemble the cab shell and then put the interior into it.  But the two assemblys fought with each other and the front of the cab shell got knocked loose.  I had to resort to ca and the windshield got slightly fogged at the bottom.

Steamy windows - not unusual on trucks.
Looking good !

Detail looks good and engine is excellent. Years ago Italeri models weren't so great. Congrats on doing a good job so far. Painting cab body before assembling seems a hard way to do it. Best of luck getting it done!

A little Future applied with a Q-tip will probably fix the fogging. It isn't visible in the photos so can't be that bad. Looks great Paul.

Thanks guys.

Trailer is done except for the decals, so it got set aside and the tractor is getting more pieces.

Hi Mr 2whl,

This is looking so nice, do you really have to spoil it with Ferrari decals though...

I built this Italeri Iveco in 1988, sold it about ten years later - just found a photo,
with hand signwriting and Letraset for the black text - wish I still had it.

The detail really is superior to U.S. kits and tires and spare wheel are excellent in look. Great job all around. Thanx for posting foto of the one you sold long ago. We all wish we had the ones that time took away when we were younger. Still, to build another today, and even better with tools and paints we never had is a greater reward!

Thanks guys

Decaling has started.  These big pieces are a pain to apply.  The white sponsor logos are all one piece and they sit right on top of several ridges on the trailer.   nothing a bit of Solvaset can't handle though.

Decaling on the cab.

The cab is able to be tilted forward after the grille is swung out.

Fantastic ..really looking the business now with all the decals.

Yes, you must open the grille first before tilting the cab, especially on real ones.
I didn't do this on a British 'Seddon Atkinson' truck in 1990, and the grille cracked into pieces.
I had to pay for a new one, which in 1990 was £200 - I guess double that in dollars.
....never did that again !

Hi Mr 2whl,

Well I have to admit, even though they are Ferrari decals, they do look good, however, the truck itself is looking fantastic...
