Nice! I love the Cosworth section of your collection! I actually drove a Sierra ex rally car. Too fun to drive above all in mountain roads! :D

The Sierra is similar to the U.S. Mercury Mercur, now long gone. Jackie Stewart did some TV ads for them. Fave of mine is the rally car, haven't seen that one before. The rest all look nice, with good paint choices and jobs. The '41 Lincoln is unusual in collections these days. Thanx!

I also noticed the 41 Lincoln and thought "you don't see many of them around". Looks good.

The above were only a small selection of models I sold to fund my racebug,
but with limited resources I had to make many sacrifices. At about £10 per model, it all added up.
I also sold my brilliant Yamaha Fazer too.
With hindsight, I should have hung on to a few of them (Johan Mopars), but that's the way things go.

The black Cosworth RS500 was the Tamiya Texaco Touring Car, but with the interior from another
XR4 Sierra to make it a road car

Oh man, it hurts to hear creations sold.  Still, it is a practical solution.  May you forever have the funding in the future!  Thanx.

mmmmm...many regrets. But that was all of two years ago.
Unfortunately the financial recession devastated my 35 year business and it was the only way to get back into racing.
I have only a few of my old models left - and both my beetles were sold last year.
Now retired, I have found a new interest in small scale stuff again and enjoying this forum.

I too love the Sierra's, I did have an '86 2:8 4X4, it was a great car to, I've never managed to get into a Cosworth but they where a stunning motor...

I also like the two tone drag car in the second photo, how do you do that kind of paint job, I have tried in the past but could never get it to look right...

All in all, you have a beautiful collection Sir...

Hi - the Pennzoil car was airbrushed in signwriter's enamel yellow and orange to create the fogging.
It thinned nicely, but took a couple of hours to go off.
