...... anyone else going to see it?

I have tickets booked for the first showing in Newcastle. Super little cinema that had a very dubious reputation many years ago for showing.... erm!! 'iffy' French films.

Now, however, it's a lovely little cinema and the circle seats ate all vey comfortable, free standing, leather armchairs. On the back of the barrier between rows is a 12" shelf fordrinks and nibbles etc. All very civilzed. Even alcoholic drinks if you so desire.

Exclusive? Expensive?..... not a bit of it, well they let me in don't they? Cost of two tickets for my wife and I...... just £5.50 for BOTH of us!!!

Really looking forward to it.

Ron Howard has a good rep for making nice films, dunno if this is a goodie or not. Small theatres can be excellent places to see movies, much better than boxy, cheesy multiplexes where you hear movie explosions from the near "rooms!" Prices seem truly nice too, many places try to keep prices "realistic" and hope for profits on snacks. Good luck!

Just one word..... WOW!!!

I you, like me, have hi octane fuel in your veins, you HAVE to see this one. Even if you are not a particularly big fan of F1.

The race soundtracks alone are worth it. They are just incredible on the big screen with mega wattage speaker. Even the seats were shaking.

And the sound of all those glorious Ford DFV engines is music to the ears.

It's the best motor racing film I have ever seen.

If you want to see it, go to see it on the big screen. The sound will just NOT be the same even on the latest mega wattage TV systems.

"Theatre sound" and clarity are best at theatres. Home versions, unless one spends big money, are not as BIG. Glad you had a good time.
