| Wow that's low! It wouldn't make it alive on our streets lol. Very creative and I really like that green. It's from Testors isn't it? |

Yes, Testors Lime Ice. Decanted the spray bomb into 4 x 23ml Tamiya jars & ran through the airbrush. Have already painted 2 models, will get another 4 to 6 depending on the body size. |

| Bright green! Very nice mild custom and I especially appreciate the foto of the finished engine outside the car. I'd like a bit more detailing (dash gauges look blank) but other than that a very neat job. I'm guessing it's the many times released Monogram '41. I have the Pyro '48 Lincoln and if I get back to building your model may be an inspiration for me and others, thanx! |

The cans go a long way when they're decanted. Did you add some thinner after decanting? I ask because I had to with their Root Beer colour and I'm curious to know if they're the same across their line. |

| I'm not a fan of tail draggers, but you did a nice job on it Steve.
I particularly like the Frenched rear lights. _________________ Al.

Yeah the gauges are very light on detail, I should have put in some custom ones. Yes it's the Monogram kit, original issue from the early sixties. I bought another one of evilbay to do a stocker to display next to this, just to highlight the changes. It turned out to be the 2nd issue, still sealed and I was the only bidder. From memory it cost $5 & $20 for the postage, can be lucky at times. - Shelby wrote:

Have not had to add thinners yet, but I suppose it depends on the air brush. I use an old suck from a bottle Badger to paint bodies, My dual action might have problems though as it is very fine. - Geezerman wrote:

A '37 Lincoln Zephyr in plastic would be cool. - Skid wrote:

This is the only the 2nd tail dragger I've built, but as it morphed in design I could not see it any other way. |

| The Lincoln Zephyr was quite a car. Not as large or bulky as the full size Lincolns, but more streamlined than the Fords or the (then new) Mercs of '39. Zephyr was one of my all time faves for '30s aero design. Thanx again for the custom '41 Continental. |
